- A really very amusing game of DandD where we broke various unwritten rules (don't send the wizards charging in and don't split the party) and still survived.
- A good band practise... in better shape than I should be by rights so yey! (Some good tunes as well.)
- Being the 18th Camel.
- Lunch with my parents and R in the sun, on the backs.

- Mending my green jumper which has been on the mending pile for nigh on 4 years now! - took 4 hours as well :P.
- Managing to mend my green jumper despite some stupid thread count along the lines of 30 stitches an inch!!! (it had laddered in several places - two were straight runs and easy to pick up, one was a rather long section where the entire thing had dropped down up to 9 rows I think. (Also started work on my green scarf but that will take longer as it is very torn and in a lose firefly knit.)
- Watching 2/3 StarWars (4 and 5) - If you want to see my opinion on the *first* 3 StarWars look here. (The substitutions are pretty obvious!)
- Daddy liking my spicy potato and vegetable soup - even though I can not, for the life of me, remember what actually went in it.
- Sorting through my clothes and coming that bit closer to reducing my wardrobe to what I will conceivably wear again - I keep saving things incase I alter them/ use the material/ suddenly find a use for 3 or 4 old and stained but slightly warmer jumpers that are very stretched...

- Staying in and not going dancing but haveing a really lovely evening meal with my parents (despite the swarm of year 10s).
- Watching a good film on iplayer - Nina's Heavenly Dreams... a little unrealistic at the end and an annoyingly hurried resolution, but still a good film.
- Tidying my room so it is now bearable.
26/06/09

21/05/09
- Good wind for sailing - but not so much to be dangerous with young kids.
- Fun times teaching and some decent young sailors so I ended up working on a range of things - 11 year olds do quite well changing from an Oppi to a 420!
- Only one person falling in... and only one injury - granted both on my boat and both to the same boy but he coped fairly well once he was warm and dry again and didn't seem to be entirely put off sailing (which is also good).
- Travelling back in an absolutely beautiful vintage-looking but electronic car! ... listening to French Jazz... with the top down... in the sun!
- Seeing Stuart in the evening :D
20/05/09
- Lovely compline service with good conversation afterwards :D.
- Doing well in my dance lesson and getting picked up on stylistic rather than basic improvements.
- Getting Organ done and oboe... even though I was tired and ill and would have rather not.
- Getting most of my packing done earlier rather than later.
- Identifying a rather interesting problem at work... now just got to go through and check everything!

- Getting some work done and actually feeling productive and interested in something. Been a *long* time since I have worked past 12.
- Getting to go home early.
- Clearing my desk of a rather cumberson TV so I actually have space to work / paint.
- OBOE IMPROVING SIGNIFICANTLY. I can nearly get a full tone now and I managed (with a few breaks) a whole piece (Sarabande y Allegro by Grovlez)... Still focussing on studies studies and more studies, but I'll get there.
- GROVE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MUSIC ... online and available at all times :D.

- A really enjoyable lunch.

- Doing Oboe and Keyboard skills practise for the first time in months/nigh on a year!! ... And scales for the first time in 2 years I reckon...
- They weren't that bad at all! (Well oboe was not pleasent but that is to be expected, particularly as I am starting with very hard reeds.)
